		Technique Class: “Inversion and Momentum”: Starting with a warm-up based on principles of the Alexander Technique and Yoga, with an emphasis on inversions, we move into an exploration of partnering movement. We use contact improvisation and acrobatic skills to discover possibilities for weight-sharing and aerial lifting with single and multiple supporters. The class culminates in longer sequences of fluid movement. Alexander Technique Workshop: This class will introduce students to the basic principles of the work to help identify habitual patterns of movement and breath that interfere with our innate capacity for ease and balance in movement. This expanded awareness will facilitate a more efficient use of the body. Special emphasis will be placed on the Alexander Technique as a tool for performance. Private Lessons in the Alexander Technique: Students will be able to receive more individual attention in one-on-one Alexander Technique sessions. Composition Class: Students are given various assignments designed to inspire and help them find their own unique choreographic voice. This class is great for giving and receiving feedback in an open, supportive environment. Yoga Class: Molly Rabinowitz and the dancers are trained in numerous styles of yoga, including Vinyasa, Astanga, and Iyengar. These yoga classes are an exhilarating fluid hybrid of these techniques designed to ground and energize students for any style of dancing they might want to perform. Post-performance discussion: Molly Rabinowitz and the dancers answer questions about their creative process of dancing and choreographing.
